What is Babe Ruth Softball?
1. Just "rec" ball?
Babe Ruth is a youth centric league focused on skills development, open play, and fun for girls aged 4-18. Babe Ruth Leagues are structured around communities, instead of regional teams or girls recruited by for-profit organizations. Recreation isn't a "just" - recreation is becoming more and more important as crucial component of a healthy community.
2. Travel ball?
Babe Ruth community team players have a special opportunity to compete on continuing season All Star Tournament teams. These Tournament teams compete in local, regional invitational contests, and on Babe Ruth Softballs signature "Tournament Trail".
3. The Babe Ruth Tournament Trail
The Tournament trail starts at the District Tournament and culminates at the Babe Ruth World Series in August, where teams in age-groups from 8U to 16U compete in an amazing setting against other regional winners at state of the art facilities, with ceremonies and events that ensure that players know they are being celebrated at a World Series.
In 2015, New Hampshire sent 6 teams and 5 umpires, making our small state one of the best represented in the country.
