Round Robin Tie Breaker Rules:

Round Robins are great fun and offer teams more event games; however, the chance of multi-team ties exist. Here's the Babe Ruth approved method for breaking ties and determining final standings.


Required Formats for Tournament Trail Events:

When Pool Play leads to Elimination Round, use pool play standings to seed teams for next level
Transition from Pool Play to Elimination Rounds.
  1. Pool Play determines seedings for the Elimination Round.
  2. Pool Play seedings CANNOT be grouped together; that is, they must stand alone. Since there is no parity between pools, grouping them involves subjective decisions, a very bad idea.
  3. From 6 to 10 teams you may have two or three pools
